160mm Cleaver forged from high carbon 15n20 mono-steel (with forced patina), featuring a wa style rift/quartersawn Oak handle. The balance of this knife is in front of the brand mark, so it’s highly recommended for someone who cuts using the pinch grip.
I am putting this one on discount straight away, due to an aesthetic issue on the right side of the blade. Similar to a previous large cleaver (and due to size limitations of my forge), there’s a circle halo that is visible from when the blade was quenched - see final image. [will not affect edge retention or use]
